Militants kidnap SENIOR MINISTER of Giligat Baltistan and a few tourists on Babusar top road near Chilas on Friday.

Armed men, believed to be terrorist militants blocked the Babusar road near Chilas which serves as a link road between Khyber Pakhtunkhwa ( KPK) and Giligat Baltistan ( GB).
The Militants kidnap Senior Minister
The Senior Minister of GB Abaidullah Baig was returning home from Islamabad when some armed men blocked the road by major blockading arteries linking KPK and GB on Friday afternoon somewhere between 4 PM, sources reported to DAWN NEWS.

The senior Minister and some other locals and tourists were stranded and then abducted from the roads of Babusar near Chilas. The supposed armed men were believed to be HABIBUR REHMAN, GB’S most wanted militant commander, along with his accomplices. Habibur Rehman was accused of murdering 11 foreigners near Nanga Parbat in 2003 and is considered to be extremely dangerous.
The purpose of the blockades and abduction was to pressurize the government to release their accomplices from jail, some of which were arrested for killing foreigners in the 2003 Nanga Parbat case, and the imposition of Islamic shariah and forbidding women from taking part in sports.
A video posted on social media displays a voice in the background showing the militants making their demands.
Soon after the report was filed for this unfortunate event, the political leaders and officials from the district were recruited to solve this problem. They tried an approach for peaceful negotiations with the militants for the release of the Minister and the tourists.
Though recently reported by some sources, Senior Minister Abaidullah Baig has returned home safely after the negotiation with the armed men who gave the government 10 days for the release of their accomplices who were involved in the Nanga Parbat Killing case.
The news made waves in the country and was also trending on Twitter, despite the fact that people raise suspension on whether this news was real or fake, considering the lack of coverage from the media outlets and visual evidence on social media.
